About
Who am I?
My name is Petar Toushkov. I live in Sofia, Bulgaria. This is the stand-alone, English-only, district of my official website for the silly day-to-day news, things of peripheral interest, and serious matters I find worth mentioning to the larger part of the non-Bulgarian speaking Internet.
I like reading a lot. Occasionally, I play video games on PC and Xbox. I am secretly in love with GNU/Linux and Creative Commons.
I am a fiction writer, a literary translator from English into Bulgarian, and an editor. I have published two books: a novel, and a short story collection. Just to be on the right side of the present day, I am also maintaining the open-ended short story collection 99 Stories as a self-published e-book.
I write speculative fiction. The translations that I’ve completed from English into Bulgarian, more than 50 fiction and non-fiction books for various Bulgarian publishing houses, cover a wide range of authors, topics, and genres. So far, everything I’ve published officially is in Bulgarian.
And how are you today?
You are very much welcome to follow me on Twitter, Mastodon, Instagram, and I promise I’ll follow you back because I am like that, a friendly and curious person.
And I’ll take very seriously the responsibility if you follow my Facebook and Goodreads pages, or if you subscribe via RSS for the latest news here.
I am an e-mail person, you say?
Contact me without hesitation.
